The Best Hiking Music to Listen to While Hiking
Here you will find the best hiking music to listen to and playlists to play while climbing your favorite mountains and trails. Hiking is one of my favorite activities to do in my free time. I truly believe being in nature heals people and reminds us just how beautiful and lucky we are to live here on Earth. In addition, to being in nature, music is another way I heal and get into a good mood. Thus, these two things together are how I relax and release a lot of stress.
In this post, you will see and hopefully be introduced to a lot of new hiking music, songs, hiking music playlist, hiking music artists, best hiking music, hiking music for Instagram, hiking music speaker, healing music radio, and more.
This post is all about hiking music.

Healing Music Radio
If you have Spotify, they offer many different radios with healing music and music with no words, if you prefer that. Some great radios are Healing Mix, Healing Music Therapy, Healing + Cleansing Frequencies, Music for Healing, Healing Songs, and many more if you type into Spotify, healing music. Also, I recommend Time is Dancing Radio and I also like to look at the different mixes that Spotify has made for me. Some that I recommend are the Happy Mix, Chill Mix, 2010s Mix, or any mixes that pop up for you on your Spotify or Apple Music that sound like the vibe you want for the day.
Hiking Music Speaker
Lots of people like to listen to a speaker while hiking, which I do recommend. Now, I don’t recommend blasting the speaker and being that annoyingly loud person on the trail, but I do think it’s a good idea, especially if you’re hiking by yourself, to make some kind of noise. That being said, I would keep your music at a nice medium level or podcast, podcasts are great to listen to while hiking as well.
Especially when you’re hiking by yourself, PLEASE don’t hike with headphones in, if anything happens, you won’t know, because you can’t hear it. By making some kind of noise, you are warning/scaring off nearby animals, while also warning other hikers that you are close by. I recommend getting a speaker that can easily clip to your hiking bag, so it’s easy to carry. You don’t want a speaker that’s super heavy or big because that will just add more weight to your pack. Which is why I recommend different speakers that have clips. Here are some other nice, small speakers that I would use.

Best Hiking Songs for Instagram Reels
Now, when I post on social media, specifically Instagram (hiking reel music), I vary from using music with lyrics to only instrumental music. Now, if you are making a reel with words, or you have yourself talking, then I would recommend using instrumental music. Yo-Yo Ma has some great instrumental music that you could use, as well as, George Winston and Yiruma. They have great piano solos.
Now, if you’re not talking in your reel, then I recommend any of the songs already listed above for hiking music for Instagram. You could also use this for Instagram stories. Now, for youtube hiking videos, you could use nocopyrightsounds (free) or Epidemic Sound (have to pay for). As far as other social media goes, like TikTok, I would use the same songs that I use for Instagram.
And that concludes this article about the different hiking music to listen to while exploring nature. I hope you find some new songs to play while climbing your favorite and new mountains. Thank you so much for reading and take care.
