European Cities to Visit
Disclaimer: None of these cities are in any specific order, just how I remember them !
First on our list are, Dublin & Galway, Ireland. These are definitely two cities, that if you are going to Europe, I would HIGHLY recommend seeing! Some great places to be at are, the Temple bar area, Grafton Street, and O’Connell Street for pub crawling in Dublin. And in Galway, the best pub street is, Quay Street, where you are sure to make a friend everywhere!
Next, I would fly to Edinburgh, Scotland. Scotland is the home of Nessie, the Loch Ness monster. There is so much country to see here, as well as beautiful buildings and history. Some great sites are, the Edinburgh Castle, Palace of Holyroodhouse, Arthur’s Seat, the Highland Mountains, Edinburgh Old Town, Princes Street, The Scotch Whiskey Experience, Greyfrairs Kirkyard, and much more!
Next, I will always recommend going to Amsterdam, Netherlands! There is so much fun held within this city, definitely the street to be on, is Damrak. And some other fantastic places are, the Van Gogh Museum, the Rijksmuseum, the Anne Frank House (I would advice getting tickets WAY in advance, when my friends and I went, they were booked until next year!), the Rembrandt House Museum, the Heineken Experience, the Dam Square, and the Vondelpark! Lastly, make sure if you are walking around the city, pay attention to other pedestrians, cars, and ALL the BIKERS! Seriously, I think there’s more bikes than cars and people! But, anyways, Amsterdam, is truly a great time!
Next, I would travel to Brussels, Belgium. Brussels, can be a very overlooked city, but if you can, I would stop by! The buildings are beautiful with classical European styles, a vast town square, and many chocolate and ice cream shops! Some great places to see are, Grand Palace (main town square), Manneken Pis (classic statue), Mini-Europe, Royal Palace of Brussels, Parc du Cinquantenaire, Brussels Town Hall, Royal Gallery of Saint Hubert, Sonian Forest, and much more! Also, for all you political buffs, the European Union headquarters lays there!
Next on our list, is Nice, France. Some beautiful places are, the Promenade des Anglais, Castle of Nice, French Riviera, Cours Saleya, Baie des Anges, Place Massena, Loup, Notre-Dame de Nice, place, Garibaldi, Musee D’Archeologie, Castle Hill, and SO much more!

Another wonderful city to explore is, Barcelona, Spain. It’s a BEAUTIFUL city! Passeig de Grácia is a great street to walk along, Plaça de Catalunya, Magic Fountain of Montjuic, Park Güell (I would get tickets way in advance for this monument!), La Sagrada Familia, are all great places to start your Barcelona journey off!
Strasbourg, France is a another great place to visit in France! I know this is not a popular opinion, but I am not a big fan of Paris. Thus, if you are not either, Strasbourg, is a great city for you instead. While, Paris does have some of the most spectacular buildings I have ever seen, Strasbourg, has impeccable buildings as well! And I found the people are much more helpful and friendly than in Paris. Some great parts of the city are, Petite France, Cathédrale Notre Dame de Strasbourg, Ponts Couverts, Barrage Vauban, and Grande Île!
Munich, Germany, is another great and fun city! I’ve also heard Berlin is awesome as well, however, I have not had the time to travel through yet, but plan too!
